FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Where are your products manufactured at?

Our products are manufactured in China, Vietnam and Indonesia.

What is the lead time to order your products?

For in-stock products, it will take us 7-10 days to ship your order. When you have rush orders, you must contact us in advance or noted at your purchase order, since we most likely will be able to expedite the order for you. We, however, do not have control over the transit time since each trucking company has different schedules.

For out-of-stock items, the backorder date is noted on the product page of the online catalog. We will need 7-10 days in addition to the backorder date. For example, if item has backorder date of April 1, it means the shipping date will be approximately April 8-11.

What kind of wood do you use for your wooden products?

We use variety of wood for our veneer products, such as Oak veneer, Acacia veneer, Mindy veneer, Pine veneer and other local woods available to our factories. For reclaimed items, we mostly use reclaimed Pine wood.

Why is the color shown on your online catalog different from the real item?

Although our photographers attempt to adjust the photos to reflect the color of the real item, several factors, such as lighting and type of image file, may play role in creating slight color variation. We would be glad to send you wood samples upon request.

Do you offer customization of your products?

All of our items are stocking items, therefore, we are not able to offer customization on our products. There is simple customization, such as cutting the leg of a simple design table by a few inches that we can do for upcharge.  Please contact us for more information.

Can I order items in finish other than what is specified on the product page?

No, each item specifically comes in the finish color specified on the product page.

We could, however, refinish any item into Ebony color, white lacquer, and paint using Sherwin William or Dunn Edwards colors of your choice for an upcharge. Please call to inquire the upcharge.

What is proposition 65? Is your product CARB-2 compliance?

Proposition 65 is a California state law that requires businesses to notify customers when their products contains significant amount of chemicals listed on the regulation.  The list of chemicals contains a wide range of naturally occurring and synthetic chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects and other harmful health-related concerns. These chemical includes additives or ingredients in pesticides, common household products, food, drugs, dyes, or solvents. The full list is maintained and updated by the California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA). To learn more, please visit their official website.

Since Formaldehyde is one of the chemical listed on proposition 65, our products are made with CARB-2 compliance MDF (medium density fiber) that carries lower formaldehyde gas-emission. Nonetheless, there is possibility that our products and packaging may be exposed to some of the listed chemical during production. As a result, we are putting a warning label on our products or packaging.
